Chief EDWARD KARAS
Ed passed away suddenly on 09/24/2011, from a massive stroke while recovering from surgery this past Tuesday.
Wake will be Tuesday Sept. 27, 2011, from 1300 till 2100 hrs. at Malec Funeral Home 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago. Tuesday at 1900 hrs. there will be a Department walk through. ( Arrive by 1815 hrs. for line up.)
Funeral will be Wednesday Sept. 28, 2011, at 1000 hrs. Service's will be at the funeral home, followed by procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 W. Hoff Rd. Elwood, IL. 60421

Addison FF & Hometown Captain Anthony G. Volpe Tony passed away on July 31, 2010, at the age of 37. Tony is the son of Chief Norm Volpe and Erika Volpe. As a teenager in the 1980's, Tony fanned at our firehouse on 43rd St. which started his career as a Firefighter.
